John came home with this yesterday and hung it up last evening.
He wants to stain or paint it. I can't decide whether to match the deck color or go with a contrasting paint.
I thought about white but don't think I want that, nor black. Any suggestions?
I took this pic a few minutes ago from inside looking out. The pink shows up a bit better.
I am busy making the house kid-friendly as my son and family are coming to visit us this weekend.

Your swing looks great there! If it was me I think I'd stain it, as I could never decide on a paint color! LOL
Have you thought about green? Either a dark hunter green or a soft sage.....

I think it needs to be a bright color. There is so much green/brown in the world...add some color like your flowers!

Red is my favorite color, but you could go with a more neutral color and then add colorful cushions. Glad you got your swing. Whether you use it a lot or a little, it will still be a blessing!

Your deck is gorgeous! The swing is in the perfect spot too. I like the idea of painting it a deep red. Stain would probably be less of a problem to maintain though.

Oh, you lucky girl -- that swing is gorgeous! Your hydrangeas are beautiful too -- I made the mistake of getting white hydrangea bushes -- now I just want to rip them out and get pretty pink and blue ones!
I think I'd go with a deck stain color for the swing and use a colorful quilt hung over the back to add a pop ...not keep it there all the time but just if you're out there swinging or having company or whenever you need to feel cozy out there.
The swing is wonderful - an opportunity for a fun color like red or lime green? Pretty flowers!

Lovely! maybe cream, pale blue, pale green...definitely needs to be a different colour from the rest I think. Look forward to a photo of you swinging on it :)
