Wishes For A Happy New Year

In a few hours we will say goodbye to 2012.

During the end of the year I lost my mojo for blogging and also for sewing and quilting.
I took a little time off to get refreshed and it seems to have helped.
Will try in the near future to add a few posts of my holidays and "stuff."

This one pretty much sizes things up!  hee hee

These little cuties are my sister Jan's grandchildren.
Brynna is 3 and Tucker will be 2 in February.
They received their own little recliner chairs for Christmas.
(I copied this photo from my niece's Facebook post.  It was so cute I had to share it.)

May you always have work for your hands to do.
May your pockets hold always a coin or two.
May the sun shine bright on your windowpane.
May the rainbow be certain to follow each rain.
May the hand of a friend always be near you.
And may God fill your heart with gladness to cheer you.

Happy New Year to you, too. I, too, haven't been sewing much as I have been knee deep in gutting, purging, cleaning and regorganizing my sewing room. So, as they say, what you want to do the rest of the year, you need to do on New Years Day. I will be sewing. Hope you get your mojo back.

Connie,
I was surprised to see that you had lost your mojo for quilting and sewing! I totally understand that tho! I think we all need a break from the stuff we do all the time. I too haven't quilted for a little while, but can't wait to get back to it - I've just been too busy with other stuff lately. But haven't lost my mojo for it! I am excited to get an upgrade to my machine on Saturday, Jan. 5, and then I hope to get LOTS of things that have been waiting, quilted! First up is my granddaughter's quilt that is just waiting to be quilted. Second, is the quilt for my boss (for Christmas), Third - one of the many other quilt tops hanging around at my house that need attention, possibly a whole cloth quilt that I started marking with Joy 18 months or more ago! Plus, we need to re-schedule our dinner together soon! I am here now - without any plans to go out West. So anytime you want to do it, just give a holler! Happy New Year!

Happy new year to you Connie !

I'm in a blogging hiatus too but hope to start again this year ! For me, there's been too much sewing and quilting to add blogging! Take care!
