My hubby John is an ILLINI fan and I promised him a quilted throw months ago (uh, make that over a year ago!) and still it remains a stack of fabric. Being a patient man, he doesn't bug me about it but I need to get it made. It will be something simple and at this time I don't have one certain pattern or plan in my head but I have a few ideas. He is also a BEARS fan and their team colors are the same as the ILLINI so I guess it will be a two-team-throw. I ordered the fabric from Hancock's of Paducah and picked the team FQs up at a quilt show.
When I posted yesterday about having two of J. C's quilt novels to read I forgot I still haven't read this one either so I have plenty of good reading material waiting for me.
I keep these books and others in a bookcase near the front door in the foyer. Yesterday I rearranged them because Jennifer's shelf was full and is now spilling onto the next one.
John feeds squirrels on our deck and this winter this little white tailed one visits daily.
John found this photo of a tea set made of yarn. I can't see it well enough to determine if it is knitted or crocheted.
Thanks for the blog visits and comments.
I read and enjoy them.
See you next time.

That will make a bright and pretty throw!
Hi Connie ~ looks like you do have some reading material to get you through the winter! Do you know that I've never read any of the Jennifer Chiaverini novels?! Not long ago though blogs were having some giveaways of her latest book. I told my daughter to enter for me, and she won a copy! That was this fall, and I still haven't started it.
Love the tea set! You could do that I'm sure!
Have a good weekend. It's snowing as I type!
