Hi, Blog Friends. I hope your day has been a good one.
:)
It is C-O-L-D here in Illinois.
BRRrrrrrrrrrrr
I just drove back home today after taking my granddaughter who had been visiting us home and I stayed with them for a few days. After I unpacked I showered and put on warm sweats and took a little snooze in my recliner. My sweet hubby is in the kitchen preparing supper for us. Tonight he plans to watch a ballgame so I think I will re-watch the recent episode of Downton Abbey online and listen with earphones while he's checking out the game. I watched it at my son's house on Sunday night but I missed some of the dialogue. Are any of you hooked on it also? John and I both love it and impatiently wait for the next installment! I have both Seasons 1 and 2 on DVD and have 3 pre-ordered from amazon.com. Other than his sports and a very few other programs on cable, most of our TV entertainment is from our DVD collection. I have a few new ones on hand that I have yet to watch. Will let you know what they are later.
QUILTING . . .
I still haven't done any piecing or quilting but I have some friends' quilts to do on the longarm. I've been knitting some and also doing some filet crochet but no finished projects to write about. While Lily (she will be seven in a few weeks) was here I taught her to how to do the knit stitch. She can't cast on yet and we didn't even attempt to purl but she has the knit stitch down. I took her to the yarn shop and bought her a pair of size 11 needles, some yarn, and she will be practicing now that she's back home. Next time she and I get together I will see if she is ready for learning to purl. The knitting project that I am working on now is the one in this photo. This is an earlier attempt but I have re-started and don't have a photo yet to show you until I figure out how to upload. I recently discovered that uploading a photo to my blog has to be done differently. I'm actually unsure of what is up but hopefully I will catch on. Until now I simply uploaded from my photo files on my computer.
EDIT: I did some checking and now things are back to normal re uploading photos. Apparently I was experiencing a "mental block" or something!
Not much else to write about this afternoon so will say TTFN.
Thanks for stopping by for a visit!
Comments are always welcomed.

How nice that you get to show your granddaughter how to knit. She'll probably be a pro in no time.
What does your title mean, "Blogger Changes"? Is Blogger making more changes?
I am now hooked on downton abbey but I need to catch up with the past two seasons.
It is getting ver cold here too and the wind is blowing.
