Some Computer Glitches Are Fixed ~ I Hope!

I've mentioned previously that I was having some difficulties with Blogger.

 

I just recently discovered that other Bloggers with whom I was leaving comments were unable to send me email replies.  I think I know what happened:  a few months ago my AOL email address was hacked.  After numerous unsuccessful attempts at trying to recover it, I realized I was unable to do so so I basically abandoned it as a lost cause.

Unfortunately, I had long forgotten that it was the address attached to my Blogger comments.  This morning I FINALLY found out where I can could simply delete that email address and insert a new one.  I believe I have fixed that problem.  Fingers crossed!

 

However, no matter what I try I am unable to make the Translate gadget work on my blog.  I will have to seek out the advice of a family member - computer geek at next opportunity on that one.

 

Re making template changes on Blogger, the "save to blogger" button does not work, I can make changes if I switch to a different template and then switch back to the one I prefer and BEFORE clicking the save button I must be sure to make ALL modifications such as to the font, sizes, colors, etc.  I would like to add a banner across the top of my page but I don't have the photo software for that purpose.  One thing at a time.
