Who . . . Me?

Hey there, Friends, how are you?  What do you think of the owl photo? 

 

John spotted the owl yesterday late afternoon, just before dark, perched on a limb in the tree across the street.  I grabbed my camera and went to a window to snap some pix.  I had to turn off the flash and use the zoom to get this one.

 

I got a few chores done this morning.  One of them was to use a putty knife to scrape the backing from a wallpaper border off the wall in the guest room.  (When I stripped the border previously it left the backing layer.)

 

It has needed to be done and today I decided to "just do it" and actually it didn't take too long.  Yay, that dreaded job is done!  I want to redecorate the room but haven't made up my mind what I want to do with it so I'm going to look at some decorating books and blogs to see if I can find inspiration.  I'd be thrilled if you want to leave a comment with a name and URL of a good decorating blog.

 

DOWNTON ABBEY held a surprise last night which I didn't see coming.  I wonder what will happen next week!
