February = Hearts (part deux)

Until a few days ago I've been doing my online bible study at the dining room table.  I grew tired of the mess that I had there so I found a new location and moved my notebooks and old laptop and things off the table.

I wanted to soften the dark table top so I washed this quilted table cover that I made ages ago and then collected some quilted hearts from around the house to see what I could come up with for a centerpiece.

 The basket of hearts

This pic is a wee bit blurry ~ unhappy about that

 Next I tried the hearts in a crystal bowl ~ not large enough to hold all of them but it will do

 I gathered some other things from here & there around the house

* I tweaked a bit

* and tweaked a bit more

I like the look now.  I think I'll leave it this way through the month.  I may try it again with the basket to see how I like the contrast of the dark against all the lighter objects.  But I want to enjoy it this way for a while first.

I'm so glad you came by for a visit.  Thank you!

Okay I love it...
I'm liking the basket and all with the last pic. (think it would contrast, do you have a pic of that?)
I love, love the lil-quilted hearts! As well as the beautiful quilt. Wew pretty!
I am in the middle of
'heart production' here as well!
I am praying that it will be posted by tomorrow...it just won't quit snowing up here. Was to meet my sis and staying in instead. This way I will finish the hearts :)
Have a blessed day!

Just got to thinking...
I do mean that it looks lovely the way it is...but, yes the basket would be contrast and I see some lovely baskets behind the table in that pic! Your home looks lovely & welcoming.
Wanted to make sure you knew how I meant that (wink).

The hearts are just adorable! Your quilt it lovely. I've never tried quilting, I'm a bit of a newbie with sewing, but I'd love to be able to make something as nice as your quilt one day :) Elisabeth x
