Knitting Needles In Motion

One of my blogger friends wrote on today's post asking what others are working on.

I'm still knitting on this scarf and am making progress.

It looks uneven because I'm using straight short needles and have the stitches scrunched together.  I have longer needles and also circulars, but am I using them?

No.

What's on your needles?

Or what's your quilting work-in-progress?

Keep toasty warm on this cold Friday night.

Thanks for visiting.

That looks like it will be very warm... perfect for IL winters. :-) I wish I knew more about knitting. I know how to knit and pearl. That's it. My Mom is a terrific knitter. If I didn't live so far away I would have learned more from her.

Very pretty knitting. I'm enjoying some hand quilting and applique in between some sampler stitching!

Dear Connie--I love the looks of the stitch you are knitting. How many stitches did you cast on. I think I have a book with that stitch pattern, I'd like to try it.
Keep warm, Claire and kids are coming for the weekend so I'll have a fun weekend! BFF

Love the scarf, Connie. And thanks for the knitting instructions! I actually don't have anything on my needles, but I did just finish up quilting another table runner (extra long) for a friend this weekend. Feels good to have another project completed.
