Little Things

I have been messing with my Keurig for a while and thought it was broken.  I wanted to use this little thingy that will substitute the purchased pods with my own coffee.  It slipped from my hands and the coffee that spilled made this heart shape.  NO KIDDING.  It really did.  John even thought I had shaped the grounds into this heart.  I thought it was just too cute to pass up putting on my blog for you.  :)  The good news is my Keurig wasn't broken, I was just doing or not doing something correctly, I think.  I have the evidence that it's ok in my mug as I write.

Here's the scarf I've been knitting.  I think it's almost the correct length that I want, maybe just a few more rows.  As soon as it's off the needles I'm going to begin another using the same stitch but it's not for me, it will be a gift later on.

I caught John dipping some banana pudding and asked him to smile for me.  He loves that dessert!

Not much else to share with you tonight.  I've been doing a little house cleaning every day.  We're due for a little more winter weather, or so say the forecasters.  I like winter, I like snow, but there comes a time when I like a change, and some warm days wouldn't hurt, even if only a few.  For now I'll just keep warm and cozy indoors.

Thanks for visiting.
In friendship,
XO XO XO

Hey! I'm agree with your DH - banana rules around our home, too.

Loved your heart. I have a potato chip like that. I saved it.

Hope you get your warmer weather soon. It was nice here today, about mid 60's.

We have a Keurig and we love it. I like the hazelnut coffees especially.
I better not let my husband see your banana pudding. It's one of his very favorites and he still has to finish the double fudge chocolate cake I made.
Poor guy :o)

You are really coming along on your scarf! I'm almost finished with the latest baby afghan.. two more rows plus border to do. But knowing my crazy life, that will probably take me another week.

That heart is adorable!! Have you ever heard about the guy that looks for a heart in his every day life and posts a picture of it? I'm not sure if he still does it but this made me think of that. : ) Have a wonderful weekend. I'm with you on the "loving winter but needing a change thing!!" xo

Hi Connie ~ banana pudding was always my mom's specialty. I almost bought ingredients to make it this week but waited. I'll have it soon though! Your scarf is really coming along!

When my coffee maker finally died a few months ago, my kids bought me a new one for my birthday that makes a cup at a time like yours! Love it!

Love that heart! I've been wondering about that little basket for the Keurig. I make tea with mine but the pre-packaged choices are pretty limited. I've been wondering if the basket would work with tea. Good for you with the house cleaning -- I need to be doing a LOT of that here!

What a cool heart! When I spill coffee grounds they usually spread all over. lol Do you like you Keurig? I've looked at them, but our hard water is so hard on coffee pots it probably wouldn't work well for us. My son in law loves theirs. Banana pudding, yum. Do you make it from scratch?

I thought of you the other day. I know that sounds weird but...I had done dishes and I looked over to see a beautiful flower that formed out of the suds. I thought of your coffee ground heart. I wish I would have snapped a picture. Now I'm going to be looking for the next opportunity to find beauty out of something that you wouldn't normally think of:0)
