Here we are in March already. I think in not too many more days we'll be "springing up," that is, setting our clocks for daylight saving time. Perhaps that will usher in a bit of warmth and spring-like days, even if only a few of them at first. From what the weather forecast shows it won't be happening here for the next few days, for we have snow coming on Monday and Tuesday both, and possibly on Wednesday.
On Friday I puttered about with my fabric stash. I didn't spend time refolding but I did straighten up the stacks and moved a few of them around. The bottom shelves are hidden because I snapped this pic while standing behind the longarm machine. Blog posts seem more interesting with photos so I used this one.
Here's Mr. John (as my grandkids call him) preparing the stand so he can fasten it to the new TV.
I got the cabinet for the TV at the discount store. It has doors for the ends (leaving the center shelves exposed) but I told him to not add the doors yet. I think I prefer the open look, and, if I change my mind, he can add them. The baskets make good containers for DVDs, both regular ones and the mini-discs that I use in my camcorder.
So glad you popped in for a visit.
See you again soon.
In friendship,
XO XO XO

I like your new tv cabinet. The baskets look like Longaberger and are too pretty to hide. As it your stash - I LOVE looking at stash pictures!
I love tv land! That looks like the same table that my daughter bought for her dvd player and games. Her tv is on the wall

Oh! I love the fabrics...
makes me want to go and just look at mine. HA! Only, mine are not looking so neat well, to me you know how that goes at times. I am in the needing to re-arrange mood as for the sewing and,,,need to wait. Okay, now this snow I am hearing about...my sis in Milwaukee area is telling me it's another biggy! Is it staying more south...I will pray for you all, smile! I imagine we will get it as well :)

The fabric is so organized! All the shades in perfect order:0) Is that the Andy Griffith Show on the TV?
Enjoy your Sunday!
Longaberger baskets? I love them. The new cabinet looks great and I don't know how you are going to get any sewing done with that big of a TV in your sewing room, but hey....it looks nice.
You have a very pretty stash! We watch a lot of Andy Griffith too! :0)
Connie ~ all your fabric looks delightful. I agree, a post is much more fun with a photo! :) Glad you have your new tv all set up and who can beat the old Andy Griffith shows? We get the dvds from the library and enjoy them.
What gorgeous baskets!
Gorgeous treadle machine to the right. Have you mentioned what machine is inside it and if it works? (Yes, I do love my treadles! But only because I love using them and love the fact that they are great machines that just keep on going!)
Your fabric stash is luxurious! Such a pretty assortment of possibilities!

It's always fun to putter in the stash, and we all like looking at fabric from other closets besides our own!
